We collect information from students, instructors, and studio owners to provide a seamless marketplace experience for yoga class bookings, workshops, retreats, and teacher training programs.
A. Information You Provide to Us Directly
Account Registration: When you register for an account, we collect personal details such as your full name, email address, phone number, and password (managed securely via AWS Cognito).
User Profiles: Information you choose to add to your profile, including profile pictures, user preferences, and studio/instructor bios.
Booking & Transaction Records: Information regarding your class bookings, drop-ins, workshops, retreats, teacher trainings, pass purchases, and booking history.
Communications: Content of messages, feedback, or customer support inquiries you submit to us.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Device & Usage Data: IP address, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, app usage statistics, and interaction logs.
Location Data: Approximate location derived from your IP address to show nearby studios, classes, or events.
C. Payment & Financial Data (Processed by Stripe)
We do not directly collect, store, or process full credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or bank account credentials on our servers.
All financial transactions—including student payments and instructor payout setups—are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe, Inc.
For Students: Your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe. We only retain transaction metadata (e.g., payment status, transaction ID, date, and amount).
For Instructors & Studios: Financial onboarding, identity verification (KYC), and bank payout accounts are handled via Stripe Connect. We receive transaction logs and payout summaries to calculate platform fees.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following operational purposes:
Platform Operations: To create and manage user accounts, authenticate logins, and facilitate class, workshop, retreat, and teacher training reservations.
Transaction Processing: To process payments, handle refunds, manage platform service fees, and facilitate instructor payouts via Stripe.
Notifications & Updates: To send booking confirmations, class reminders, schedule changes, system updates, and administrative alerts.
Customer Support: To respond to user inquiries, technical support tickets, and account disputes.
Platform Improvement & Analytics: To monitor performance, fix bugs, optimize database queries, and enhance overall app usability.

A. Between Platform Users (Students, Instructors & Studios)
When a student books a class, workshop, or retreat, the instructor or studio hosting the event receives the student’s name, booking type, and attendance status to manage the class roster.
Public profiles of instructors and studios (such as bio, class schedules, and locations) are visible to all users on the Platform.
B. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party vendor services that perform services on our behalf under strict data protection protocols:
AWS (Amazon Web Services): Cloud infrastructure hosting, user authentication (Cognito), and secure database management (DynamoDB).

Account Updates: You can update or correct your profile information directly within the mobile application settings.
Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at info@yogazenit.com. Note that retaining transaction and legal waiver records may be required by law.
Communications: You may opt out of non-essential promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Operational/transactional alerts (such as booking receipts and class cancellations) will still be sent.

Our Platform is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age (or under 18 without parental/guardian consent). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
